Our members are the heart of our organisation

They vote for our Trustees as well as contribute to other big decisions – giving them a direct say in choosing the people who steer our future direction and ensuring our charity remains on the right course.  

While also contributing towards life-changing experiences for youngsters who would otherwise slip through the net, our membership plans highlight our commitment to raising youth development standards across the sector and beyond. 

What our membership offers

By signing up to our yearly subscription for adults you’ll be making a lasting and positive difference to the lives of young people from across the UK.

Become a member from £5 per month

There are three different memberships to choose from; Explorer, Empowered, and Life Member, and we invite anyone aged 18+ to join our crew!

As well as supporting our life-changing youth development work, members vote for our Trustees and contribute to big decisions at our AGM, helping to shape the future of the charity.

Members can support us with a monthly donation starting from £5 per month, or an annual donation starting from £60 a year.

Explorer £5 per month or £60 per year

  • Members welcome pack including a complimentary branded gift

  • Quarterly members newsletter

  • Priority early bird voyage booking

  • Membership of the Company limited by guarantee, including voting rights at AGM

Empowered £10 per month or £120 per year

  • Empowered members receive the same benefits as Explorer, plus:

  • Invitation to an annual event, with the chance to meet the team and some of our young people

  • 10% discount on a voyage once a year

Life Member one off payment of £1,500

  • Life members receive the same benefits as Explorer and Empowered, plus:

  • One free day sail for member and a guest

  • Choice of a second complimentary branded gift

  • Invitation to additional events throughout the year
